Bumblebees are generally not aggressive (unless threatened).

Bumblebees do not swarm.

Bumblebees are native pollinators.

Bumblebees are more active on cloudy days than honeybees.

Bumblebees are more docile than honeybees (they are not aggressive and defend themselves as a last resort).

Bumblebees don’t breed with aggressive, Africanized bees.

Bumblebees are naturally occurring, and they can be found in many parts of the world.

Bumblebees are active at lower temperatures than honeybees, capable of flying when the outside temperature reaches 5 degrees centigrade.  Honeybees cannot fly until outside temperatures reach approx. 15 degrees centigrade.
